Commercial Interior Design in El Paso
Commercial interior design in El Paso covers the planning, furnishing and installation of the apartments, build-to-rent homes, extended-stay hotels and senior communities the city needs as a major data center campus takes shape and rental demand builds on the northeast side. Texas is one of the states where Level Up Interiors has completed work, and we serve El Paso from our Irvine studio and Southern California warehouse, with installation partners handling the work on site.
The assignment splits between housing for the trades who are here for the build and housing for the permanent staff and families who stay after it.
Construction Crews, Operations Staff and El Paso Rental Demand

In March 2026, Meta said it expects the expanded El Paso data center to support over 300 operational jobs once complete and over 4,000 construction jobs as construction grows. Meta and BlackRock followed in July 2026, saying they plan to invest $14 billion in the El Paso campus and that it will come online in 2028.
Those figures describe different renters. Construction trades rotate through on project timelines and want furnished units, extended-stay rooms and flexible leases. Operations staff sign longer leases, compare amenities carefully and eventually shop for homes. An owner serving both faces a real decision: how many units to furnish now, and how those units return to unfurnished stock once the build winds down. We plan furniture packages with that conversion in mind, so pieces from a furnished unit can move into a clubhouse, a model or storage instead of being written off.
Garden-Style, Wrap and Build-to-Rent Communities in El Paso

Most new rental product near the northeast side falls into a few familiar forms, and each asks something different of the interior. Part of our job is helping owners decide where the budget belongs. In a garden community leasing to trades, durable unit furniture usually matters more than a showpiece lobby. In a wrap building aimed at permanent staff, the leasing path and amenity rooms carry more of the weight.
- Garden-style apartments: a clubhouse and leasing office that serve residents on every shift, with furnished units specified for fast turns
- Wrap apartments: lobbies and long corridors with hard, cleanable floors and lighting that softens the walk home
- Build-to-rent homes: finish packages that feel like a house, repeat across plans and survive move-outs
- Extended-stay hotel rooms: a working kitchenette, a desk sized for paperwork and a lobby that doubles as breakfast room and lounge
Commercial Interior Design in El Paso Under High-Desert Sun

El Paso light is bright and direct, with sharp shadows and very little humidity, and it reaches deep into rooms with west or south glass. We specify solar shades and lined drapery that cut glare without darkening a space, and fabrics and wood finishes chosen for how they hold color. Dry air matters too: solid wood can check and leather can crack, so we favor engineered or well-sealed woods and upholstery that tolerates low humidity. Fine dust rides in on the wind, which argues for matte, mid-tone surfaces over gloss or dark flat colors.
El Paso also has a strong regional vocabulary. Clay, sand, terracotta and sage come straight from the desert and the Franklin Mountains, while stucco, tile and arched details from Spanish colonial and Southwestern buildings give a lobby or clubhouse a sense of place. We use them as accents layered over clean, modern planning, so a building feels rooted in a border city without reading as a theme.
Senior Living and New-Home Communities as El Paso Jobs Grow

As permanent jobs arrive, the housing mix broadens. New-home communities need model homes that show a family how a plan lives, which here means furniture scaled to the actual rooms, shaded outdoor living staged as usable space and finishes that make option upgrades easy to compare.
Senior and active adult housing follows the same employment growth. Those interiors call for seating that is easy to rise from, strong contrast between floors and walls, glare control in common rooms and dining spaces that feel like a restaurant rather than an institution.
An El Paso Opening Date, Worked Backward

With construction expected to grow and new buildings delivering in sequence, the furniture schedule has to start from the day residents or guests arrive. We purchase through our own receiving warehouse in Southern California, where shipments from many vendors are opened and checked so damage or a wrong finish surfaces while there is still time to reorder. Orders are then grouped into coordinated deliveries timed to each building.
On site, our installation partners handle the heavy work and our designers stay through final styling, setting art and accessories and making the last adjustments before handover. For an operator opening several buildings in a row, that rhythm repeats from a single approved spec.
Questions
Does Level Up Interiors offer commercial interior design in El Paso?
Yes. Outside Southern California is where most of our projects are, and Texas is one of the states where we have completed work. Design and purchasing run from Irvine, and our designers travel to El Paso for site walks and installation.
Should units for construction crews be furnished or unfurnished?
It depends on who you expect to lease and for how long. Furnished units fit rotating trades and short leases, while permanent staff often bring their own furniture. Many owners furnish a share of units at first and plan for those pieces to move into amenity rooms or storage when demand shifts.
How does the dry El Paso climate change a material specification?
Very low humidity can dry out solid wood and leather, so we lean on engineered woods, sealed finishes and fabrics that tolerate dry air. Strong sun calls for colorfast textiles and solar shades, and fine dust favors matte, mid-tone surfaces that hide it between cleanings.
Can you help an El Paso property that is already open?
Yes. We can refresh a clubhouse or leasing office, replace worn unit furniture or update finishes in a capital renovation while residents stay in place. Small scopes such as a single amenity room, a rendering or photoshoot styling are welcome too.
