Boise Multi Family and Growth Market Interior Design
Boise multi family interior design is the planning, furnishing and installation of apartment amenities, model units and common areas for the rental communities rising across the Treasure Valley as Micron builds its new fabs. The same hiring wave reaches workforce and extended-stay housing, build-to-rent neighborhoods, senior communities and new-home models in Boise, Meridian and Nampa. We are ready to serve owners and builders there as a national team based in Irvine, with our own receiving warehouse in Southern California and installation crews we work with across the United States.
Two Micron fabs in southeast Boise and the housing behind them

In June 2026, construction was underway in southeast Boise as part of a $50 billion Micron investment that includes two new fabrication facilities in the city, KIVI-TV reported. A program of that size does not hire all at once. The federal CHIPS for America page for the project lists 6,000 construction jobs and 3,500 manufacturing and facility jobs over a 20-year period for two high-volume DRAM fabs.
That sequence shapes housing in waves. Construction trades arrive first and need furnished rooms they can move into quickly. Technicians, engineers and operations staff follow as the fabs come online, and many bring households looking for an apartment, a rental home or a house to buy. Senior and active adult communities grow alongside them, serving the valley's growing retiree population.
Boise workforce housing and extended-stay rooms for rotating crews

Boise workforce housing for a fab build has to work for someone who arrives on a rotation, puts in long shifts and hands the unit to the next person. That changes the furniture package. We specify beds, seating and casegoods built for frequent turns, finishes that clean quickly between occupants, and storage sized for work boots, safety gear and a duffel that never fully unpacks.
Extended-stay hotels serving crews and incoming technicians carry the same brief with a hospitality layer on top. The kitchen gets daily use, the work surface handles paperwork and a laptop, blackout shades protect anyone sleeping after a night shift, and the lobby or lounge should feel like a place to unwind rather than a waiting room. An owner who converts an older hotel or master-leases apartments for crews usually needs a durable refresh more than a full redesign, and we take on scopes that size.
Boise Multi Family and build-to-rent for the staff who stay

The permanent staff at a fab are technicians, engineers and operations specialists, and renters like that compare amenity spaces closely on a tour. For Boise multi family, the rooms that earn their keep are the ones residents use every week: a coworking room with real acoustic separation, a fitness space laid out for actual training, a clubroom that works for a weeknight gathering, and package and bike storage that handle volume. Garden-style and wrap buildings carry most of the new supply, with a smaller amount of podium product downtown, so the amenity package usually sits in a clubhouse or a ground-floor suite.
Build-to-rent communities on the valley's growing edges ask for a different balance. Each home needs a finish package that survives resident turnover and still reads as a house someone would want to own. The amenity center, leasing office and model homes do the selling, so we design them as one set with the finish package, and the tour and the move-in feel like the same product.
Boise senior living, active adult and model home interiors

Senior and active adult communities in the Treasure Valley ask interiors to support independence. That starts with even lighting, clear contrast at floor transitions and furniture that helps residents sit down and stand up safely, then carries into dining and activity rooms planned for a full social calendar. Families often tour with a parent, and they look for rooms that feel residential rather than clinical.
New-home communities on the edges of Boise, Meridian and Nampa rely on model homes to sell floor plans. Our founder, Laura Velasco, began her career in model home merchandising, and we furnish models so each plan reads clearly: furniture scaled to show a room's true size, a styling direction matched to the buyer the builder is targeting, and sales offices and design studios where buyers can choose finishes with confidence. When models open in phases as a community builds out, we plan pieces that can move between homes.
Boise interiors shaped by foothills, the river and distinct seasons

The Treasure Valley is high desert at the foot of the Rocky Mountain foothills, with dry, hot summers, cold winters and clear light. That climate points to fabrics with strong fade resistance in sunlit rooms, hard-wearing entry flooring with walk-off zones for snow and grit, and outdoor furniture that handles summer heat and can be stored through winter.
The local look comes from the Boise River greenbelt, the foothill trails and an outdoor culture that fills weekends. Warm wood, stone, rust and sage tones fit that setting without turning into a theme, and the mid-century and Craftsman homes in older neighborhoods suggest an understated palette over a loud one. For residents who arrive with bikes, skis and muddy gear, entry storage, gear rooms and wash stations earn their space in apartments and rental homes alike.
Getting furniture to a Boise site: warehouse, freight and install crews

Most of our projects are outside Southern California, and we have completed work in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Arizona and other states. On a Boise project, design and procurement run from our Irvine office, and orders come through our own receiving warehouse in Southern California. Pieces are received, inspected and stored there, so damage and missing items surface before anything ships to Idaho rather than on install day.
When the building is ready, we coordinate delivery against the construction calendar, and installation crews we work with across the United States place each piece while our design team handles final styling and the walkthrough. A Boise owner gets one team accountable for the furniture from purchase order to punch list, instead of a set of vendors to coordinate.
Questions
Why is so much housing being built around Boise?
Micron is building new fabrication facilities in southeast Boise, which brings a long construction phase followed by permanent manufacturing and facility jobs. Construction crews need furnished and extended-stay housing during the build, and permanent staff need apartments, rental homes and houses after it. Senior communities and new-home neighborhoods grow alongside both groups.
Do you take on Boise multi family projects from Irvine?
Yes. We take on Boise multi family work as a national team, with design and procurement run from Irvine, orders received and inspected at our Southern California warehouse, and installation handled by crews we work with across the country. Scopes range from a full amenity package to a single clubroom refresh.
What should Boise workforce housing include?
Furniture and finishes that hold up to constant turnover, storage for boots and work gear, blackout shades for day sleepers, and a usable kitchen and work surface in every unit. Common rooms should give residents somewhere to decompress after a shift. We size the package to the length of stay and how often units turn.
When should a Boise developer bring in an interior designer?
Early enough to shape amenity layouts, lighting and finish selections before drawings are finalized. Bringing design in late usually means working around outlets, ceilings and storage that were placed without furniture in mind. For a lease-up, starting early also leaves time to order and inspect furniture before opening.
How do you keep a Boise furniture delivery on schedule?
We align purchasing with the construction schedule and hold product at our Southern California warehouse until the building is ready. Inspection happens there, so replacements can be ordered before the truck leaves. Delivery is then timed to the install date rather than arriving loose on site.
