Full-Service Commercial Interior Design in Houston
Full service interior design in Houston means one firm carries a community's interior from first concept through installation, so the drawings, the purchase orders and the day-of-delivery decisions all come from the same team.
Houston's growth is absorbed mainly by garden-style apartments, build-to-rent neighborhoods and master-planned new-home communities, and the metro added 126,720 residents between July 1, 2024 and July 1, 2025, the largest numeric gain among U.S. metro areas, according to the Census Bureau. Owners building for that demand are running real schedules, and an interior split among several vendors is where those schedules tend to slip.
When full service interior design in Houston beats separate vendors

On a split job, one firm designs, another documents, a third buys and a fourth installs. A selection changes at one step and nobody updates the next. With one team, the finish chosen at concept is the one specified, ordered and set in place, and a change is carried through every step by the people who made it. Owners reading the Greater Houston Partnership's 30,900-job outlook, a slower pace than recent years, tend to want one accountable budget and one team rather than several moving parts.
- A finish discovered to be discontinued only when it is ordered
- A sofa that fits the picture but not the room drawn on the plan
- A delivery that arrives with no one on site who knows the layout
Designing a Houston interior from out of state
Read more
Most of our projects are outside Southern California, and we have completed work in Texas, so working at a distance is routine. We run the design and documentation from our Irvine office, receive and inspect furniture at our own warehouse in Southern California, and use installation partners across the country with our designers on site for the install.
The benefit for a Houston owner is a single point of contact. Questions about a finish, a delivery or a revision go to one team that already knows the answer, instead of bouncing between vendors who have never met.
Full repositioning of a Houston community under one scope
Read more
A repositioning asks the interior to change who a property is for. The older garden-style community that needs a new identity, or the new neighborhood with an amenity story to establish, benefits from a design that is held together from the first mood board through the last chair.
One scope also means one budget conversation. The honest trade-off is that you give up bidding design, buying and installation separately. In exchange you get one accountable team and a schedule that does not depend on three firms agreeing.
Climate decisions live in the same scope. Humid heat, heavy rain and hurricane season favor durable, moisture-tolerant and easy-clean choices, and when one team owns the design and the purchase, those choices are made once and carried through, not reopened at the order.
Questions
What does full service interior design in Houston include?
One team carries the interior from concept through install, including the drawings and the buying in between. You can also start with a smaller scope and add to it as the project firms up.
Can we hire you for only part of the interior?
Yes. Small scopes are welcome, such as a furniture refresh, one amenity room, a rendering or finish selections.
Who is on site in Houston during installation?
Our designers are on site with the installation teams, so the layout is checked against the plan as pieces are placed.
Why choose a Southern California firm for a Houston project?
Most of our work is out of state, and we have built the process for it: our own receiving warehouse, installation teams across the country and a single point of contact. Distance is something we plan for from the first week of a project.
