Commercial Interior Design in Miami and South Florida

Commercial interior design in Miami covers the amenity floors, lobbies, pool decks and guest spaces of high-rise residential and hospitality properties, planned so they look right on opening day and still perform after years of sun and salt.

South Florida has no shortage of talented designers. What is harder to find is a team that carries a concept all the way through procurement and a tower installation without losing the details. That is where we focus.

A Crowded Field Where Delivery Decides

In a market this saturated, most proposals show beautiful renderings. The difference between firms shows up later: whether the specified sofa is still available when the order is placed, whether the substitute keeps the look, whether the custom bar stools arrive before the opening party, and whether someone is on site when the freight elevator booking runs short.

We work as an extension of the developer or operator team. Florida is one of the thirteen states where Level Up Interiors has completed work, and we run South Florida projects from our Irvine studio with FF&E received and inspected at our Southern California warehouse before it ships. Damage gets caught and replaced there, not discovered on the fortieth floor the week before move-ins.

What Is Feeding Demand for Miami Towers and Hotels

Miami's pipeline is pushed by employers and visitors more than by raw population gains. The Miami-Dade Beacon Council reports that more than 100 companies worked with it in 2025 to expand or relocate to Greater Miami, committing to 3,070 new jobs and $1.2 billion in new capital investment. Kaseya's 2023 expansion plan called for 3,400 new direct jobs, which the Beacon Council described as the largest tech job creation project the county had supported. Relocating staff like these are the renters touring a downtown or Brickell amenity floor and comparing it with the tower next door.

Visitor and trade volume keeps the hospitality side busy too. PortMiami handled 8,564,225 cruise passengers in Fiscal Year 2025, the highest count in the seaport's history, and cargo at Miami International Airport climbed 13.6% to nearly 3.5 million tons in 2025. Hotels that host pre-cruise guests, and the buyers, crews and logistics staff tied to that trade, need lobbies and guest floors that take constant turnover without looking tired by the second season.

Commercial Interior Design in Miami High-Rise and Hospitality Spaces

Residential towers and hotels share more than people expect. Both depend on a lobby that sets the tone in seconds, an amenity level that photographs well for marketing, and a pool deck that has to work as a daytime lounge and an evening venue.

For multi family towers, we plan sky lounges, coworking rooms, fitness centers and private dining rooms around how residents use them across a week, not just how they look in a launch video. For hospitality, we think in terms of guest flow, back-of-house access for staff, and finishes that housekeeping can maintain at volume. In both, the views do a lot of work, so we keep the interior strong enough to hold its own without competing with the water.

Outdoor Furniture for Wind, Salt and Sun

Upper-level decks and waterfront terraces are some of the most valuable square footage in South Florida, and they are also where furniture fails first. We select outdoor pieces with weather and exposure as the starting point.

  • Heavier frames or anchoring options on upper-level terraces where wind lifts lightweight chairs and umbrellas
  • Corrosion-resistant metals and finishes suited to constant salt exposure
  • UV-stable, solution-dyed fabrics that resist fading under strong sun
  • Quick-drying cushions and storage plans so soft goods can come inside ahead of a storm
  • Shade structures and umbrellas chosen and placed with the building team before the deck plan is final

Freight Elevators, Dock Time and Stacked Floors

Installing FF&E in a tower is a logistics exercise before it is a design one. Loading docks are shared with other trades, freight elevator time is booked in blocks, and the building may already have residents or guests moving through.

We sequence deliveries floor by floor, label every carton to its room, and coordinate with the general contractor or property manager on dock schedules and elevator protection. Our installation partners in South Florida then deliver, assemble and place each piece, and our designers are on site to style the spaces and walk the punch list before the team signs off.

Questions

Do you provide commercial interior design in Miami for residential towers?

Yes. We design lobbies, amenity levels, pool decks, leasing spaces and model units for high-rise multi family. We also handle FF&E procurement and installation so the design team stays responsible through opening.

Have you completed projects in Florida?

Yes. Florida is part of the thirteen-state footprint of completed work we would carry into a Miami tower or garden community. The projects photographed on our site are in California, Arizona and Alabama.

How do you handle installation in a building with limited freight elevator access?

We plan deliveries around the booked elevator and dock windows and stage product by floor and room. Cartons are labeled in advance so crews move directly to the right space, which keeps each block of elevator time productive.

Do you work on hospitality projects in South Florida?

Yes. Hospitality is one of our core property types, including lobbies, restaurants, lounges and guest-facing amenity spaces. We plan finishes and furniture around guest flow, staff access and day-to-day maintenance.

Why ship furniture through a California warehouse for a Miami project?

Receiving at our own warehouse lets us inspect every piece, replace damaged items and consolidate shipments before anything reaches a busy tower site. The building gets fewer, better organized deliveries.
