A model has one job: to make the plan feel right. That means scale. Furniture that is too large hides the plan, and furniture that is too small makes rooms look like closets. We select pieces so a buyer can read how the living room, dining area and kitchen connect, and we leave clear paths between them.

Local conditions guide the finish choices. Sage, sandstone, basalt gray and Sierra pine tones suit the setting, and warm wood and stone give an industrial landscape a human touch. Window treatments need to manage strong sun, and the entry should show how a family handles snow and mud.

Models rarely open all at once. A community may begin with one or two plans and add more as sections release. We plan each phase so the first models carry the sales effort and later models add variety without repeating the same story. Furniture for a later phase can be held in our Southern California receiving warehouse until the home is ready, then delivered in a coordinated schedule.

Installation partners from our national network then set each room while our designers direct placement on site. When a model is retired, its furniture can be refreshed or restyled for the next plan, and a photoshoot can capture it at its best.
