Model Home Merchandising in Las Vegas
Model home merchandising in Las Vegas is the furnishing and styling of a builder's models, sales office and design studio so a buyer can picture living in each floor plan. The metro is adding jobs, with employment rising 2.9 percent, from 1,143,300 in June 2025 to 1,176,800 in June 2026, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and new-home communities are part of the response.
Our national team is based in Irvine, and we run our own receiving warehouse in Southern California alongside installation partners across the United States.
The Las Vegas buyer walking through the model

New-home buyers here include households arriving for work, trades and technicians moving up from rentals, and families who want a yard that works in the heat. Each group walks a model looking for different things, and the furnishing should answer them without a salesperson.
A relocating household wants to see where the work happens and how storage works. A move-up buyer wants space for gatherings. The merchandising has to show life in the home, not just furniture.
New hiring gives builders a reason to keep models current. The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance said four businesses will add more than 430 new full-time positions, and the Clark County Commission's unanimous approval of a 56,800-square-foot Switch data center signals continued technical employment on the valley's southwest side. Buyers relocating for those roles often tour several models in a weekend, so the staging in each one decides which floor plan they remember.
Furnishing each Las Vegas floor plan to sell the layout

The model is a sales tool for a specific plan, so furniture scale and placement prove the layout. A great room should show a sofa and dining table that actually fit, and a secondary bedroom should show whether it works as an office or a guest room.
We select pieces at the right scale, because oversized furniture makes rooms feel small and tiny furniture makes them feel cheap. Lighting is layered, with warm lamps over cool daylight, and window treatments soften the strong Mojave sun without making rooms dark. Fabrics resist UV fade because model homes sit in sun for months.
The palette of desert sand, terracotta, dusk purple and sage connects the interior to the landscape and mountain views at the valley edge. Outdoor living gets real attention: shaded seating and a patio arrangement show how the yard works in summer.
Finish and furniture selections stay consistent across models so the community reads as one place.
The sales office and design studio in a Las Vegas new-home community

The sales office is the first model buyers see. It should be cool, welcoming and organized around a clear path from greeting to plan display to design studio.
A design studio works best when finish samples are grouped by selection category, with enough table space for two buyers and a designer. Good lighting makes samples read accurately, and storage keeps the room tidy between appointments. A buyer who chooses finishes in an inviting studio is more likely to feel confident about the purchase.
Staging later phases of a Las Vegas community without closing the first model

Communities open in stages, and the merchandising should grow with them. Early phases may rely on one or two models, while later phases add plans and upgrades.
We coordinate delivery and installation so a new model can open without disturbing the sales activity in the first. Furniture is received and stored at our Southern California warehouse until the model is ready, and installation partners place it with our designers on site. When a model is retired, pieces can be refreshed or reused in the next phase.
Questions
What is model home merchandising in Las Vegas?
It is the selection, furnishing and styling of model homes, sales offices and design studios for builders. The aim is to show each floor plan clearly and help buyers picture daily life in it.
How do you handle the desert sun in a model home?
We use fabrics that resist UV fade, choose window treatments that soften light without darkening rooms and plan outdoor seating that holds up to heat.
Can you merchandise a single model?
Yes. A single model, a sales office or a design studio can be its own project, and we can add phases later.
How do you coordinate delivery for a new model?
Furniture is received, inspected and stored at our Southern California warehouse, then delivered on a coordinated schedule and installed with our designers on site.
