Clubhouse, Leasing Office and Amenity Design in Salt Lake City

Clubhouse and amenity design in Salt Lake City is the planning of the leasing office, lounge, coworking, fitness and outdoor rooms that a rental community uses to win tours and keep residents. The valley is hiring, and new communities are competing for renters who arrive with ideas about how they want to live.

We have not finished a project in Utah yet, and a Salt Lake City clubhouse, from the leasing desk to the pool deck, is work our Irvine team is ready to take on.

The tour path through a Salt Lake City clubhouse

A prospect sees a community in sequence: the street, the leasing office, the model, the amenities. Each step should answer the next question. The leasing desk is where a visitor is greeted and seated, so it needs a welcoming counter, a table for floor plans and a view of the amenities beyond.

In a valley of strong light, we use windows and open sightlines to draw people through, and we make the last stop memorable, usually the room that feels most like a place to live: a lounge with a fireplace, a covered patio or a kitchen that looks used. The tour should end with the prospect already picturing an evening there.

Many residents here are tied to corporate and life-science jobs. Redo is one example: its Salt Lake County expansion in Draper, which received a post-performance tax reduction from Utah's Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity in July 2025, projects 682 new jobs over five years. Employers like that bring renters who work from home part of the week and want a place to do it that is not their couch.

Coworking in the clubhouse works best with variety: a couple of enclosed rooms for calls, a long shared table with power and good light, and a lounge area for informal meetings. The leasing office can share space with it, so the room is staffed and in use rather than empty. Furniture should be comfortable enough for a full workday and durable enough for daily traffic.

Fitness and social rooms that earn their floor area in Salt Lake City

Winter inversions and heavy snow push residents indoors for exercise and company. A fitness room should be bright and have real equipment, with a stretching and free-weight area, good ventilation and a view if one exists. The social room should be flexible: a kitchen, a bar or counter, seating in small groups and an open area for events.

We size these rooms against the likely number of residents using them at once, because an oversized, empty room reads as wasted money and a cramped one leaves people without a place to go. Gear and bike storage near the entry keeps equipment out of corridors and the lounge.

  • Fitness: bright, ventilated and sized to actual use
  • Social room: a kitchen, small seating groups and an open event area
  • Entry: mudroom-style space with durable flooring and storage for gear

Pool-side and outdoor furniture in Salt Lake City sun and snow

Summers are hot and dry, with strong sun, and winters bring heavy snow and cold. Outdoor furniture has to survive both. We specify frames, finishes and fabrics for UV exposure, temperature swings and cleaning, and we plan storage or covers so pieces last through the cold months.

Outdoor rooms work best when they are laid out like rooms: a lounge group, a dining table, a fire feature and shade, rather than a scatter of chairs. Furniture is received and inspected in our Southern California warehouse, delivered in sequence and placed with designers on site, with installation partners across the country.

Questions

What spaces does clubhouse and amenity design cover?

It covers the leasing office, lounge, coworking, fitness, social rooms and outdoor areas, including furniture, finishes, and the path a prospect takes on a tour.

Has Level Up Interiors completed a project in Utah?

Not yet. We have completed projects in thirteen states and are ready to serve Salt Lake City from Irvine with the same process, warehouse and installation network.

How does climate affect outdoor furniture in Salt Lake City?

Strong sun, hot dry summers and heavy snow call for UV-resistant finishes, fabrics that clean easily and a plan for covering or storing pieces in winter.

Can you update one amenity room in an existing community?

Yes. Many owners start with a single room, such as a coworking space or a lounge, and we select furniture and finishes and coordinate delivery and installation.
